Legal Aid Society of Alberta: Provides legal services to
financially eligible applicants.
Money Matters: Kerby Centre Information Line. Office for the Prevention of Family Violence: Has information about family violence and the Protection Against Family Violence Act. It also has materials in many languages.
Office of the Ombudsman: Conducts impartial investigations
on receipt of written complaints from individuals who believe that they
have been unfairly treated by the provincial government. There are only
two offices in Alberta.
Office of the Public Guardian: May be appointed legal guardian for dependent adults. Offices across Alberta.
